What's cooking?

Once again, combining challenges can really help you make a card :)

Here I combined 3 challenges, all are great.

I used CPS sketch, 365 cards - day 80 and a little Secret Scraper's glitter.

The papers are from DCWV's Nana's kitchen stack.

It's a bit different from what I'm used to, but I like it :)

This week's challenge at Stamp Something was to create a Thank you card, while casing one of Lauren’s cards. I choose this one. I love the colors and the scallop. Of course I combined the challenge with another one - the Color Throwdown #43.
I changed my card from Lauren’s but I really was inspired by her card.
Here's what I came up with






I kept it clean and simple and had fun creating this card :)

Dustin Pike's unique blog candy

Today I found this amazing blog, by Dustin Pike. He's giving away a great candy and what's even greater is what you have to do to get the chance to win this.
He has choosen a site, post pals. You really shoul visit it.
So, what we have to do is to make a card and something scrapy for a child from that site, send it to them and post about it in our blog. After doing this. post a coment on Dustin's blog cady post and wait : ) He will choose 1 grand winner and 10 first prize winners, all chosen randomly. You have until June 6, 2009 to post a comment.

Another sketch, another card

On this Thursday challenge on Instyle stapms blog thay came up with this cute sketch

I just signed up for a fall cards challenge, so that came right on tome for me :)

I used the sketch to this card using Basic Grey's Mellow paper pad and Hero Arts stamps.

I stitched the buttons to the background paper (and I'm SO proud of myself for that).

I hope you'll like it as much as I do.

CP Sketch #14

Hi everyone, thank you for the great comments, it means a lot to me.

Last week's Card Patterns sketch was a great one and so I set down and made a card, but I really didn't like it (it was ugly! really). so, this Saturday I made another one, which I like better (and that wasn't hard to do...).

I used my lovely nestabilities, arrows and hearts die cuts and swiss dots embossing folder.

The papers are from DCWV - textured paper and the stamps are from 7 gypsies.

That's it :)

Day 71 - Super sketchy Sunday

Yes, I know it's already Thursday :)

I really love the sketch that we had to work with on this Sunday's challenge - Super sketchy Sunday.

I'm sorry, but you should know by now that I really can't take a good picture, and as much as I like to blame my cute red camera - I really can't, it's all because of me...

The beautiful papers are, surprisingly ;), Basic Grey - Offbeat collection, the stamp is from Hero Arts set - Trees, Birds & Messages (I love it) and the ink is Versa fine - vintage sepia.

I really love this card, hope you will too.

Hi to you all :)

This week's 365 cards challenges are great, so I made a card combining the challenges for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The challenges were...

Day 72 - Musical Monday - use a sheet of music, "musical" paper, or music notes on the card.

Day 73 - Tuesday's Trio - include circle, scallops and bling in on the card.

Day 74 - DIY - Handwritten sentiment.

For the sketch I used Amy's Friday sketch (and that's no. 4). Here's the sketch

Some new things...

I feel like I haven't been here for weeks...

I have some new things to show you, so let's start.

The first card was made for NSD challenge #8. We had to make a card by this sketch

I used the challenge to make a card for my friend's birthday. And here's the card

The next two cards were made for a birthday swap.

With the cards we had to send a little something, so I made these picture frames that are also magnets
