Happy Birthday card

Around the globe, everyone's talking about the winter and the rain and here in Israel it rained for a few moments in the north. And I missed that...
I really hope that by the end of November I could show you some raining in Israel (but don't hold your breath...).
In the mean time, here's a new birthday card (it seems like that's the only kind I have…) I made using the sketch from The sweetest thing.

I used BG Offbeat paper pack. The embellishments are made of foam and I cut them with the cuttlebug.

You Rock!

I've wanted to make a card like this for a very long time. I don't know what took me so long, but I did it (and got it right on the first time, so I'm pretty proud of myself :))

I used Stampendous Perfectly Clear Stamp Set: Rock Out, Versa fine ink, Basic Grey - LilyKate paper peck and American Crafts chipboards.

The card will be send as a birthday card for someone special :)

As seen on Laurel's blog...

It's readers' week at the 365 Cards blog and for this challenge the guest reader was Laurel Seabrook. She's a very talented creator and her blog is amazing.

The theme for the challenge was Peek-a-Boo to you! - create a fun flap somewhere on your card. Laurel made a cute card that inspired me at once so I set down and created this card

and when it opens the first time-

and the second time -

The base is a DCWV cardstock. I also used Basic Grey - Urban Prairie paper peck.
Have a great day!!

Mojo Monday week 97

It's another Mojo Monday sketch! And since I still have some birthday cards to make (and send on time...) I used it to make another birthday card.
This time we had to make a card using this sketch
And here's the card I made

I used Penny Black stamps, Basic Grey - Granola paper stack and Versafine ink - Vintage Sepia.
I hope you'll like it :-)

The Pink Elephant - challenge # 25

Hi! It's been a creative weekend for me and here is one of the cards I made yesterday.
The card is for the
Pink Elephant challenge, which is a sketch from Robin. I need to make some birthday cards and I really love the sketch so it was perfect for me. I used colors and papers I don't usually use and I'm quite happy with the result.
Here's the sketch

And here's the card I came up with

Hope you'll like it too...
Thanks for stopping by :)

Another sketch, another card

On this Thursday challenge on Instyle stapms blog thay came up with this cute sketch

I just signed up for a fall cards challenge, so that came right on tome for me :)

I used the sketch to this card using Basic Grey's Mellow paper pad and Hero Arts stamps.

I stitched the buttons to the background paper (and I'm SO proud of myself for that).
I hope you'll like it as much as I do.

Day 71 - Super sketchy Sunday

Yes, I know it's already Thursday :)

I really love the sketch that we had to work with on this Sunday's challenge - Super sketchy Sunday.

Here's what I made for the challenge -

I'm sorry, but you should know by now that I really can't take a good picture, and as much as I like to blame my cute red camera - I really can't, it's all because of me...

The beautiful papers are, surprisingly ;), Basic Grey - Offbeat collection, the stamp is from Hero Arts set - Trees, Birds & Messages (I love it) and the ink is Versa fine - vintage sepia.

I really love this card, hope you will too.

Chen :)

4 in 1

Hi to you all :)

This week's 365 cards challenges are great, so I made a card combining the challenges for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The challenges were...
Day 72 - Musical Monday - use a sheet of music, "musical" paper, or music notes on the card.
Day 73 - Tuesday's Trio - include circle, scallops and bling in on the card.
Day 74 - DIY - Handwritten sentiment.
For the sketch I used Amy's Friday sketch (and that's no. 4). Here's the sketch

And - here's the card I made -

I don't know why I coukdn't take a better picture of it, so here are some closeups -

The papers are from Basic Grey's Blush collection (and thank you Adiya for the lovely stamp).
Hope to see you on the next post,
Chen :)
